Owner and founder of Whites’ Bath & Body, Melissa White, had always dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur and running her own business. Opportunity presented itself when she realized that she was unable to find skincare products that were appropriate for her skin type. If she could create a product line that combined high quality, natural ingredients with minimal preservatives and additives, then she would have something that would not only work for her, but just about anyone with sensitive skin.

The experimenting began at home with her 8 year old daughter Jenna. Together they created bath bombs, bath truffles and other products. The more they experimented, the more the ideas flowed. Melissa began researching body lotions, cleansing products and other skin care essentials. She experimented with many different formulas and came up with a product line using a fully FDA-approved base. In an effort to keep everything as pure as possible, she was adamant that no product contain dyes and that all contained less than 2% preservatives - the minimum necessary to keep the products fresh during their time of use.

With a wide variety of options, she was ready to approach family and friends to test her new product line. She made sure to provide samples to many different skin types and ages. After 18 months of sharing her products, she had nothing but rave reviews. White’s Bath & Body was born - a new venture, based out of her farmhouse in rural Beachburg. Now a lucrative business, White’s Bath & Body products can be found in several retail locations across the Ottawa Valley.
