aloe vera

Aloe Vera contains numerous vitamins and minerals, enzymes, amino acids, natural sugars and agents which may be anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial. Benefits include soothing skin injured by burns, irritations, cuts and insect bites. It helps to moisturize and soften the skin and may help speed the healing of wounds.

avocado oil

An unsaturated oil that is cold pressed to retain all it's natural vitamins and minerals. Closely matches the skin in its makeup and has been used in hospitals to help heal burn victims.

chamomile

Soothes irritated and problematic skin. Has flavonoids that animists blemishes and assists in healing.

cocoa butter

Used in cosmetics, chocolate and soap. Known to be very moisturizing and helps the elasticity of the skin; assisting in reducing stretch marks and scars.

dead sea salts

Salts from the Dead Sea have been legendary for centuries for their therapeutic and beautifying properties on the skin. Nothing like regular sea salt, Dead Sea salts are comprised of a wide variety of minerals which are present in a high concentration. Whereas regular sea salts are made up of over 90% sodium, salt from the Dead Seas is only about 10% sodium and the rest is made of minerals essential for the proper function and health of our skin. Minerals include magnesium, potassium, bromine and calcium.

goat's milk

People who suffer from skin allergies, eczema, psoriasis and dry skin are frequent users of goat's milk soap. It is mild and legendary for it's skin healing and moisturizing properties.

grapeseed oil

An ultra fine oil derived from grape seeds with a thick viscosity. Commonly used as a carrier oil in moisturizers and lotions.

hemp oil

The hemp plant, originally banned in Canada and the United States, has become a key ingredient in many products and is now highly regarded for it's nutritional value. Hemp plants require no pesticides and are hearty and resilient to predators. In fact, hemp has a much higher success rate than other crops including wheat and barley. The seed of the plant is used for oils and nuts. The husk is used for pulp, the inner plant "silk" is used for fabric and the core for fine paper.

 

Containing essential fatty acids, a full spectrum of vitamins (A, D & E) and minerals, along with Omega 3 & 6, this cold pressed oil is found in many White's Bath & Body products. This oil is the only type to offer Omega 3 & 6 outside of fish and is essential to the body.

japanese green tea

Reported to fight damage from excessive sun and environmental damage. This Asian plant has the ability to prevent free radicals from damaging cell structure further.

jojoba oil

Thai thick waxy oil is similar to our skin and penetrates quite readily. Excellent moisturizer and offers cellular renewal.

meadowfoam seed oil

Fairly new on the market, Meadowfoam is rich in Vitamin E, and offers anti-oxidant activity. Pressed from the seeds of a plant which received it's name because of it's resemblance while in bloom to the white foam blowing on the ocean. When applied to the skin, it forms a moisture barrier and assists the skin with preventing moisture loss.

shea butter

Derived from the karite(shea) tree of continental Africa, this thick "butter" has a variety of skin benefits. It is moisturizing and nourishing, with some ability for cellular renewal and a natural low level UV protection for the skin. It is known to be effective for fading scars, eczema, burns, rashes, acne, severely dry skin, blemishes, dark spots, skin discolorations, chapped lips, stretch marks, wrinkles and lessens the irritation of psoriasis.

soy wax

This wax is used in lip balms, candles, soaps and cosmetics. Derived from soy beans, it melts easily and is all natural. It has no taste.

sunflower oil

This light oil contains no BHA or BHT and is high in linoleic acid and an excellent emollient.

vitamin E (tocopherol)

In terms of skin health and care, vitamin E benefits are numerous. Due to it's antioxidant activity, vitamin E is vital in protecting skin cells from ultraviolet light, pollution, drugs and other elements that produce cell damaging free radicals. Vitamin E lotions provide some benefit in preventing and treating sunburns. They protect the epidermis layer of the skin form early stages of ultraviolet light damage. This vitamin also plays a role in the anti-aging of skin. It helps skin look younger by reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
